How Brassie Ltd. Co. handles information on this website and in our apps, in plain language.
Effective date: August 21, 2026
Who we are
Brassie Ltd. Co. (“Brassie,” “we,” “us”) is a company registered in the State of Texas, USA. We build iPhone apps for golfers, and we operate this website, brassie-co.gg. You can reach us any time at support@brassie-co.gg.
This policy covers the brassie-co.gg website and, as they are released, our apps. When an app launches with practices beyond what is described here, we will update this policy before or at release, and the app will link to the current version.
This website
We designed this site to collect as little as possible.
- No accounts, no forms, no tracking. The site has no login, no analytics scripts, no advertising, and does not set cookies.
- Hosting logs. The site is hosted on GitHub Pages, operated by GitHub, Inc. Like most web hosts, GitHub may log standard technical information about requests (such as IP addresses) to operate and secure the service. Brassie does not receive or use these logs. GitHub’s practices are described in the GitHub Privacy Statement.
- Fonts. Pages load typefaces from Google Fonts, which means your browser requests font files from Google’s servers when the page loads. Google’s practices are described in the Google Privacy Policy.
When you email us
If you contact support@brassie-co.gg, we receive your email address and whatever you choose to include in your message. We use that information only to respond to you and to fix the problem you wrote in about. Our email is hosted on Google Workspace. We do not sell your contact information or add you to marketing lists.
Buttercut
Our first app, Buttercut, is currently in development. All data remains on device. Any changes to this policy will be notified to users in app and on this page.
- Video of your practice sessions. Buttercut’s core feature is recording your range sessions and using AI to detect swings, cut the footage into clips, and analyze those clips. Your session video is processed for the purpose of delivering these features to you.
- iPhone Feature Use Authorization Buttercut contains features that may require Camera, Microphone, and Photo Library access. These access requests must be accepted by the user in-app in order to take effect.
- Improving our models. Buttercut will not collect any personal data, even for model improvement.
- Diagnostics. Crash reports are written and remain on-device unless a user chooses to send externally.
- Deletion. The data you produce via Buttercut remains on-device entirely, so deletion can be handled entirely on your device. For more questions, email support@brassie-co.gg.
Buttercut’s App Store listing will also include Apple’s standard App Privacy details describing exactly what the released app collects.
Sharing
We do not sell personal information. We share information only with the service providers named in this policy (such as our hosting and email providers), who process it on our behalf, or when the law requires it.
Children
Our website and apps are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
When we update this policy, we will change the effective date above. For meaningful changes — for example, when ButterCut launches — we will make the update easy to notice.
